Steps on How to install a backless booster seat
Step 1. Position the car seat base in your vehicle using either LATCH or lower anchors and tether straps located at the B-pillar of your vehicle. These must be correctly attached, so be sure to read the owner’s manual for more information about this process if you’re unsure how it works.
Step 2. After positioning the car seat base, slide it up next to where you will sit so that there is room between where you’ll be sitting and where children are placed while seated in their safety seats.
Step 3. Recline both sides of the child safety seat unit by pulling outwards on them until they are into place, then push the seat down and ensure that it is locked into place (they should not be able to move forward).
Step 4. Attach the two shoulder belt anchors, pulling outwards on them until they click to lock the car seat base into position.
